ముంబై: మహారాష్ట్రలోని ప్రవర నదిపై ఉన్న నీల్‌వాండే డ్యామ్‌ కాలువల నిర్మాణం కోసం షిర్డీ సాయిబాబా సంస్థాన్ ట్రస్ట్ రూ.500 కోట్లు ఇవ్వనున్నట్టు ప్రకటించింది. కాలువల నిర్మాణం వల్ల అహ్మద్‌నగర్ జిల్లాతోపాటు నాసిక్‌ సిన్నార్‌లోని సంగమ్‌నెర్, అకోలె, రహత, రాహురి, కోపర్గో తహశీల్‌లలోని 182 గ్రామాల ప్రజలకు లబ్ధి చేకూరుతుంది.

 

ఆర్థిక సాయంలో భాగంగా మహారాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి చెందిన గోదావరి-మరాఠ్వాడా ఇరిగేషన్ డెవలప్‌మెంట్ కార్పొరేషన్‌తో ఎంవోయూ కుదుర్చుకున్నట్టు సాయి ట్రస్ట్‌కు చెందిన సీనియర్ అధికారి ఒకరు తెలిపారు. ప్రాజెక్టు కోసం ప్రభుత్వానికి రూ.500 కోట్లు ఇవ్వనున్నట్టు చెప్పిన ఆయన వడ్డీ మాత్రం వసూలు చేయబోమన్నారు. అయితే, ఇంతకుమించి వివరాలు వెల్లడించేందుకు నిరాకరించారు. సామాజిక కార్యక్రమాల కోసం డబ్బులు వెచ్చించడం ఆలయ ట్రస్ట్‌కు కొత్త కాదని, అయితే, నీల్‌వాండే డ్యామ్ కోసం ఇంత పెద్ద మొత్తం ఇవ్వడం ఇదే తొలిసారిని, ఇది చాలా అరుదైన ఘటన అని ఆయన వివరించారు.

 

రాష్ట్ర జలవనరుల విభాగం అధికారులు మాట్లాడుతూ నీల్‌వాండే డ్యామ్‌లో నీటి నిల్వ ప్రారంభమైందని, అయితే, వ్యవసాయం, తాగునీటి అవసరాల కోసం కుడి, ఎడమ కాల్వలు నిర్మించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు. రూ.350 కోట్లతో కాకడి గ్రామంలో నిర్మించిన విమానాశ్రయం కోసం షిర్డీ టెంపుల్ ట్రస్ట్ గతంలో మహారాష్ట్ర ఎయిర్‌పోర్ట్ డెవలప్‌మెంట్ కంపెనీకి రూ. 50 కోట్లు అందించింది.

460 కోట్ల టిటిడి నిధులతో గరుడ వారధి నిర్మాణం


తిరుపతి నగర చరిత్రలోనే భారీ ప్రాజెక్టుగా ఎలివేటెడ్‌ స్మార్ట్‌ కారిడార్‌ (గరుడ వారధి) పట్టాలెక్కింది. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టును 2021 మార్చి నాటికి పూర్తి చేయాల్సి ఉంది. గడువు లోగా పూర్తి చేయాలన్న సంకల్పంతో అధికార యంత్రాంగం తీవ్రంగా శ్రమిస్తోంది. రూ.684 కోట్ల అంచనాల వ్యయంతో ఈ ఏడాది మార్చి 5వ తేదీన ప్రారంభం అయిన ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు పనులు ఆది నుంచి అడుగడుగునా అవాంతరాలు ఎదురవుతున్నాయి. అయితే సాక్షాత్తు శ్రీవారి పాదాల చెంత ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా చేపడుతున్న ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు పనులు ఎక్కడా ఆగకుండా ప్రభుత్వం చర్యలు తీసుకుంటోంది. ప్రస్తుతం గరుడ వారధి పనులు జరుగుతున్న రోడ్డు పూర్తిగా టీటీడీ పరిధి కావడంతో 67 శాతం నిధులను ఖర్చు చేసేందుకు టీటీడీ ముందుకొచ్చింది. మిగిలిన 33 శాతం నిధులను స్మార్ట్‌ సిటీ సమకూరుస్తోంది.
